Rotaract is the collegiate level of Rotary International, and is an organization based on professionalism and service, that strives under the motto "service above self." I have been a part of Rotaract since 2016, and have been grateful to serve as the President of JMU Rotaract for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years. Rotaract allows me to give back to the community through service and fundraisers. This is a photo taken of me at the Blacks Run and Downtown Cleanup, where I joined other Rotaractors and Rotarians in a day of local clean up. What item did we find the most of? Straws.

Rotaract has given me the opportunity to grow and practice my professional skills. I love networking with other Rotaractors and Rotarians because everyone's involvement in Rotary International varies, and I love hearing their unique stories. Due to my background in marketing and involvement with Rotaract, I was invited to speak on a panel of three, about Rotaract's public image through social media. I presented to a room filled with over 50 Rotarians, Rotaractors and their guests, about the importance of social media. Which was followed by a 25 minute Q&A session.
